How SilkSouq became a luxury wellness brand built to expand
SilkSouq had an established product business but a much bigger ambition. Tidora repositioned the brand around effortless wellness, then built the identity, digital direction and execution roadmap needed to move into new categories.
The brand had outgrown its original positioning.
SilkSouq was an existing silk business with established products, customers and an ecommerce presence, but its new owner had a much bigger ambition for the brand.
The business was preparing to move beyond pillowcases and scarves into loungewear, fashion and eventually a wider lifestyle offering. The existing brand was still communicating primarily around individual products, rather than the larger idea connecting them.
The challenge was to create a brand strong enough to support that growth while protecting what already mattered: premium quality, sustainability, comfort and the natural benefits of silk.

We defined the bigger idea behind the products.
We started by defining what SilkSouq needed to become before deciding how it should look.
Through strategy sessions, we explored the founder's vision, customer, product portfolio, pricing, competitors, values and long term ambitions. One idea consistently stood out: SilkSouq was not simply selling silk. It was offering a form of wellness that required very little effort from the customer.
That became the foundation for repositioning the business as a luxury wellness brand, built around effortless care, comfort and everyday indulgence.
The strategy also created room for SilkSouq to expand naturally across wellness, fashion and home without losing a clear central idea.

We translated that idea into a premium visual system.
The identity needed to make luxury feel warm, effortless and contemporary rather than distant or overly formal.
We developed a visual system that balanced refinement with softness, giving SilkSouq a more distinctive presence while remaining flexible enough to work across different product categories.
The logo, typography, colour system, imagery and graphic elements were designed to communicate elegance, comfort and quiet confidence.
The result was an identity that felt less like a product label and more like the beginning of a broader lifestyle brand.

We carried it into the places customers actually experience the brand.
The new direction was designed to live beyond the brand guidelines.
We extended the identity and positioning across SilkSouq's website, social content, product communication, email, launch materials and future campaign direction.
We also worked with the founder on how the new brand should enter the market, from launch planning and customer communication to founder visibility, creator content and new product introductions.
Instead of handing over a new identity and leaving the founder to determine what came next, the strategy became a working system for how SilkSouq could continue showing up, launching and growing.
